KAK Adjustable Gas Block
The adjustment screw allows for quarter turn adjustments to tune gas.
To restrict gas flow, turn the screw clockwise (inwards) using a 3/32"
hex key. If you want to return the gas block to the fully open position, adjust the screw inwards until it stops turning, then unscrew the adjustment screw counter clockwise (outward) until it stops clicking (detent disengages), then screw inward until the screw clicks at least twice so that the detent is engaged. This will ensure your gas block is completely open and will allow for 100% gas flow.
To tune the gas block it is recommended that a 3:00–4:00
ejection pattern is present. This can be achieved by loading and shooting one round at a time while taking note of where brass is ejecting with each adjustment. Ensure that the bolt is locking back when tuning; if the bolt starts to not lock back, your firearm is under gassed and more gas needs to be allowed to flow.
